 Yoga is framed as more than exercise for some, and for others, it is just exercise to those like Diamond Dallas Page. Yoga is more than just exercise because it makes you overall healthier physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually if you are receptive. 


This weeks Bikram Yoga practice suggests that yoga is empowering through the performance of challenging asanas and the use of affirmations to close the practice. The 26 poses were challenging and push you to your limits while working every part of your body, including muscles, organs, veins, and ligaments. The affirmations were positive and described the universe as a guide, healer, and protector.


Although running can be meditative and can boost your confidence, it does not give the same results as yoga. Running does not require a class and does not make you as flexible as yoga potentially could.

Zumba can also affect your physique and boost your confidence. However, it is not as meditative or spiritual when compared to yoga.
